There are two main situations in which participants do not hear the translation in the infoport headsets.

1. None of the participants can hear the translator

  1. The transmitter is turned off
Turn on the transmitter by pressing and holding the power button (located between the antenna and the microphone jack) for about 3 seconds.

  2. Two transmitters are turned on simultaneously. Completely turn off one of the transmitters.
Note: The 'mute' mode (flashing blue LED) is not enough – the transmitter must be completely turned off.
Only one transmitter can be active on a given channel.
  3. The transmitter is set to a different channel than the receivers
Check the channel on the receiver where the translation is audible, and set the same channel on the transmitter.
How to change the channel on the receiver?
    1. Press and hold the ' +' and ' – ' buttons simultaneously until the padlock disappears from the display.
    2. Then, use the ' +' and ' – ' buttons to change the channel to the correct one.
    3. The translation should now be audible.
  4. The microphone is damaged
Replace the microphone with the spare one (there is one spare microphone in each case).

2. Some participants hear the translator, while others do not.

This means that the problem lies with the receivers of the listeners who cannot hear.

  1. The receiver is turned off
Turn on the receiver by pressing and holding the power button for about 3 seconds.
Set the appropriate volume level using the ' +' and ' – ' buttons.
  2. The receiver is set to a different channel
Ask the translator for the channel number or check the channel on the receiver where the translation is audible.
Change the channel as described above (hold ' +' and ' – ' until the padlock disappears).
  3. The headphones are not connected
Insert the headphone plug into the jack on the receiver.
Turn on the receiver and set the volume.
  4. The receiver does not turn on (discharged)
Replace it with a charged receiver from the case.

If the problem persists – replace the receiver and headphones, and report the issue to a technician or translator.
