What to do when the receiver or transmitter won’t turn on or doesn’t charge?

The receiver or transmitter won’t turn on - most often a discharged battery

If the receiver or transmitter does not respond to the power button, in 90% of cases the problem is a discharged battery.

How to quickly check whether the device is discharged

  1. Connect the device with a USB-C cable to a phone charger or power bank.
  2. If the device is working properly, a red LED will light up immediately after connecting.
  3. You can continue using the transmitter and receiver while they are charging.

Best solution during an event: Replace the device with a fully charged one from the case.

When the device does not charge in the charging station

Check the following in order:

  1. The charger is switched offThere is an ON/OFF switch next to the power cable of the station. Make sure it is in the ON position.
  2. Dirty contacts
    1. Check the sockets in the station - remove any paper, foil or dust with something soft (e.g. a cotton swab) while the charger is switched off.
    2. Check the contacts on the bottom of the transmitter/receiver and gently clean them if necessary.
  3. The device is not properly seatedMake sure the transmitter/receiver is correctly inserted into the station (you should hear a gentle click).

Additional tips

  • Charging time: A full charge usually takes 4 - 5 hours. Do not leave it until the last minute.
  • Charge indicator: Red LED = charging, green LED (or no red light) = fully charged.
  • Before the event - always check the battery level the day before and charge the entire set overnight.
  • Emergency charging - if you do not have the station, you can charge individual devices with a USB-C cable from a phone or power bank.
  • Spare devices - every case contains spare transmitters and receivers, so the problem can be solved in a few seconds.

For your own safety: If the problem continues after replacing the device with a spare one, report it to the technician immediately - it may be a hardware fault that requires repair.
