WaveTalk is a compact, digital mobile translation system (tour guide / guide system), widely used for simultaneous translation assignments throughout Europe.

Microphones compatible with WaveTalk transmitters

 

WaveTalk mobile transmitters have a 3.5mm jack socket. You can connect microphones suited for the location where the translation is taking place to this socket.

1. Single-ear headset microphone

Lightweight, discreet unidirectional microphone (light/beige color). Ideal for situations where the interpreter wants to maintain maximum discretion. Its directionality minimally picks up surrounding sounds. The microphone connects to the transmitter via a detachable cable approximately 120 cm long, allowing the transmitter to be attached around the neck with a lanyard.

2.Ear microphone for two ears

Lightweight, discreet unidirectional microphone (black color), worn under the hair. Provides freedom of movement and minimal pickup of surrounding sounds.
The microphone connects to the transmitter with a detachable cable about 120 cm long, allowing the transmitter to be secured with a lanyard around the translator's neck.

3. Lapel microphone

A classic lapel microphone that clips onto the collar of a jacket or tie. It is not a directional microphone, which allows it to work properly regardless of the speaker's head movements (to the left and right).
The microphone connects to a transmitter with a detachable cable approximately 120 cm long.

4. Microphone on a stand

A microphone mounted on a rigid holder ("spider"). The interpreter holds the transmitter in hand and speaks directly into the microphone.
This solution is particularly useful when two interpreters are working simultaneously and using one transmitter.

WaveTalk mobile receivers have a 3.5mm jack. You can connect headphones suitable for the location where the translation takes place to this jack.

Headphone worn on one ear with a durable, flexible accordion-style hanger. It offers very good sound quality – clear and loud. Cable length: approx. 100 cm.

After each use, the headphones are disinfected and packed in clean plastic bags.

3. Single-use Earphone

Hygienic earphone with a rubber cushion. It features good sound quality (clear).
